Overview

This policy applies to digital software, subscriptions and other digital products purchased from ANSWRQ.

Because ANSWRQ products are supplied digitally, there are no physical goods to return. Your statutory rights are not affected by this policy.

Free products

Products offered free of charge, including ANSWRQ Free, do not involve a purchase payment and therefore have no purchase price to refund.

Free products may be subject to separate licence terms governing their use.

Digital software purchases

ANSWRQ software is supplied electronically, normally by providing access to a software download through your ANSWRQ account or order.

Where you purchase digital content for immediate delivery, you may be asked during checkout to consent to the supply of that digital content beginning immediately and to acknowledge any effect this has on your statutory cancellation rights.

This does not affect any statutory rights you may have where digital content is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not conform to applicable consumer law.

Software subscriptions

Some ANSWRQ products and services may be sold on a recurring subscription basis.

The price, billing period and renewal terms applicable to a subscription will be shown when you purchase it.

Unless stated otherwise at checkout, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period using the payment method associated with your subscription.

You may cancel future renewal of your subscription at any time through your account, where this facility is available, or by contacting us.

Cancelling a subscription prevents future renewal charges. It does not normally refund charges for a subscription period that has already begun, except where required by law or where a refund is otherwise provided under this policy.

What happens when a subscription ends

When a paid ANSWRQ subscription expires or is cancelled, access to paid services, software updates, support, licences or paid functionality may end or change according to the terms of the product purchased.

Cancellation does not remove content you have previously created or published on your own WordPress website using ANSWRQ.

Any functionality that remains available after expiry will be determined by the applicable product and licence terms.

Cancellation rights

If you are purchasing as a consumer, applicable consumer law may provide a right to cancel certain distance contracts within a specified period.

Different rules may apply to digital content and services where you have requested that supply begins during the cancellation period.

Where legally required, we will obtain the appropriate consent or acknowledgement before providing immediate access to digital content.

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Refund requests

If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us and provide:

• your name;
• the email address used for your order;
• your order number; and
• a brief explanation of the reason for your request.

We will review the request against this policy, the terms applicable to your purchase and your statutory rights.

Where a refund is approved, it will normally be returned to the original payment method.

The time taken for the funds to appear after we issue a refund depends on the payment provider and your bank or card issuer.

Faulty software

If an ANSWRQ product you have purchased is faulty, materially fails to operate as described, or you are otherwise experiencing a technical problem, please contact us.

We may ask for reasonable information about your WordPress installation, plugin version, the problem encountered and any relevant error information so that we can investigate.

Where appropriate, we may first attempt to resolve the problem through support, an update or another reasonable technical remedy.

This does not limit any statutory remedy to which you are entitled.

Compatibility

Before purchasing a paid ANSWRQ product, please review the published system requirements and compatibility information.

We cannot guarantee compatibility with every combination of WordPress version, hosting environment, theme, plugin, third-party service or AI provider.

Where a compatibility problem results from ANSWRQ failing to meet compatibility requirements that we specifically stated the product supports, please contact us so that we can investigate.

AI providers and third-party services

Some ANSWRQ functionality may require or optionally use third-party services, including supported AI providers.

Where ANSWRQ uses a bring-your-own-provider model, charges made directly by your chosen AI provider are separate from payments made to ANSWRQ.

ANSWRQ cannot normally refund charges made directly to you by a third-party provider. Requests concerning those charges should be made to the relevant provider.

Availability, pricing, usage limits and functionality of third-party services may also be governed by that provider’s own terms.

Promotional and discounted purchases

A promotional or discounted price does not remove any statutory rights you may have.

Any additional promotional refund or cancellation conditions will be stated clearly as part of the relevant offer.

Refund processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method wherever reasonably possible.

Although we may process an approved refund promptly, banks and payment providers can take additional time to credit the funds to your account.

Account and licence consequences of a refund

Where a paid software purchase or subscription is refunded, the corresponding paid licence, download entitlement, subscription or access to paid services may be cancelled.

Refunding a product does not give ANSWRQ ownership of content you have created or published on your own WordPress website.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy as our products, subscription arrangements or applicable requirements change.

The policy applying to a purchase will be subject to applicable law and the terms presented in connection with that purchase.
