ANSWRQ Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 16 August 2026

1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the ANSWRQ website, WordPress plugin, associated software, downloads, services and paid features provided through ANSWRQ.

By downloading, installing, purchasing or using ANSWRQ, you agree to these terms.

If you use ANSWRQ on behalf of a business or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf.

2. About ANSWRQ

ANSWRQ provides tools designed to analyse website content, identify information that may be missing or could be improved, and assist users in preparing content for AI-powered search, answer systems and other forms of online discovery.

Some ANSWRQ features can use third-party artificial intelligence services configured by the user.

ANSWRQ does not guarantee that using the software will cause a website, page, business, product or other content to appear, rank or be recommended in any particular search engine, AI service or other third-party system.

3. WordPress plugin

ANSWRQ may be made available as free and paid WordPress plugin functionality.

The free plugin may be distributed through WordPress.org and/or ANSWRQ.

Additional functionality, services, modules or licences may be made available separately.

Features may change as ANSWRQ develops. Where reasonably possible, material changes affecting paid functionality will be communicated appropriately.

4. Third-party AI services

Some ANSWRQ features can connect to third-party AI providers, including supported services such as OpenAI and Google Gemini.

Where you configure such a service, selected website content and information you provide to ANSWRQ may be transmitted to that provider when you use AI-powered features.

This may include website content excerpts, profile information, questions or analysis context, and information or messages you provide through QAI.

Your use of a third-party AI provider is also subject to that provider’s own terms, privacy policy, availability, usage limits and charges.

ANSWRQ does not control third-party AI services and is not responsible for changes to their models, APIs, pricing, availability, output or terms.

5. API keys and third-party charges

Where ANSWRQ allows you to provide your own API credentials, you are responsible for obtaining and maintaining those credentials and for any charges incurred with the relevant provider.

ANSWRQ does not include third-party AI usage charges unless a product or plan expressly states otherwise.

You are responsible for monitoring usage and limits associated with your third-party accounts.

6. AI-generated and suggested content

ANSWRQ may produce suggestions, analysis, questions, proposed website copy and other AI-assisted output.

AI-generated or automated output can be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate or outdated.

ANSWRQ is designed to assist with content analysis and preparation, not to replace human review.

You are responsible for reviewing and approving content before publishing or relying upon it.

You should take particular care with information involving legal, financial, tax, medical, regulatory, safety or other professional matters.

7. Website analysis and results

ANSWRQ analyses available website content and other configured information using automated techniques.

Analysis results are advisory.

A finding that information is missing does not necessarily mean that information is absent from every part of a website. Likewise, a passed check does not guarantee that search engines, AI systems or other third parties will interpret the website in the same way.

ANSWRQ does not guarantee:

  • search-engine rankings;
  • inclusion in AI-generated answers;
  • recommendations by AI systems;
  • website traffic;
  • enquiries, sales or revenue;
  • indexing or crawling by third parties; or
  • any particular commercial result.

8. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the websites, content and accounts on which you use ANSWRQ.

You agree not to use ANSWRQ:

  • unlawfully or fraudulently;
  • to infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other rights;
  • to distribute malicious software or harmful content;
  • to attempt unauthorised access to ANSWRQ or related systems;
  • to circumvent licence, security or access controls; or
  • in a way that could materially interfere with the service for other users.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit content to any third-party AI service you configure.

9. Accounts

Some ANSWRQ products and services may require an account.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for activity performed through your account.

You should notify ANSWRQ if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

10. Purchases and subscriptions

Prices and the features included with paid ANSWRQ products will be shown before purchase.

Where a product is sold as a subscription, the applicable billing period and renewal arrangements will be displayed at checkout or when the subscription is created.

Unless otherwise stated, prices exclude any taxes that must legally be added.

Cancellation and refund arrangements are described in the ANSWRQ Refund and Cancellation Policy.

11. Free products and features

ANSWRQ may provide software, services or functionality free of charge.

Free functionality may be changed, expanded or withdrawn in future, although this does not affect rights granted under any applicable open-source licence covering software already supplied to you.

12. Software updates

ANSWRQ may release updates to improve functionality, compatibility, security or performance.

WordPress, third-party plugins, themes, hosting environments and external services can change independently of ANSWRQ. We therefore cannot guarantee perpetual compatibility with every combination of third-party software or service.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate website backups before installing software or making significant changes to your website.

13. Intellectual property

Except for components distributed under open-source or third-party licences, ANSWRQ branding, website content, documentation, designs and proprietary services remain the property of their respective owner.

Nothing in these terms restricts rights granted to you under the GNU General Public License or any other applicable open-source licence covering the WordPress plugin or components of it.

ANSWRQ and associated branding may not be used in a way that falsely suggests endorsement, partnership or affiliation.

14. Feedback and feature requests

You may submit feedback, ideas and feature requests to ANSWRQ.

Submitting an idea does not create an obligation for ANSWRQ to implement it.

Roadmap items, planned features and future ideas are indicative and may change in scope, priority or timing.

Community feedback and voting may be used to help determine development priorities.

15. Availability

We aim to keep ANSWRQ services available and functioning reliably, but uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed.

Functionality that depends on WordPress, hosting providers, AI providers or other third parties may be affected by circumstances outside ANSWRQ’s control.

16. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

To the extent permitted by law, ANSWRQ is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the software or services, including loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, data or anticipated savings.

You remain responsible for reviewing changes to your website and maintaining suitable backups.

For paid ANSWRQ services, any further contractual limitation of liability should be interpreted subject to applicable consumer and commercial law.

17. Termination

You may stop using the free plugin at any time.

Paid services may be cancelled in accordance with the applicable subscription and cancellation terms.

ANSWRQ may suspend access to hosted or licensed services where reasonably necessary because of fraud, abuse, security risks, material breach of these terms or legal requirements.

18. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in the ANSWRQ Privacy Policy.

When you independently configure a third-party AI provider, information sent to that provider is also subject to that provider’s privacy practices and terms.

19. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated to reflect changes to ANSWRQ, applicable law or the services we provide.

The latest version will be published on this website with its revision date.

Where a material change significantly affects an ongoing paid service, reasonable steps will be taken to notify affected users where appropriate.

20. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you may also have mandatory rights under the laws applicable where you live which these terms do not remove.
